Blaze of Ambition Update

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online "Blaze of Ambition" expansion is finally here!!!
VERSUS:

VERSUS is the new PvP feature only available to the characters Level 30 or higher. You may join the battle by talking to NPC "Yaginuma", who can be found in Nakano first.

There are two types of VERSUS battles:

  • FATE: Fate is a 15-on-15 battle, where the objective is to claim 5 Bases in Fujimi Midgard. The Bases are located throughout the field, and some of them may give your team extra points. You also will gain additional points every 30 seconds if you maintain control of the Bases. Fate focuses on team play and strategy rather than individual skills.
  • VALHALLA: Valhalla is a 5-on-5 battle, where the objective is to defeat the opponents in the Coliseum. Your team will gain points for each character as well as each demon you defeat, and the battle ends when one of the teams reaches the maximum points or the time runs out. Valhalla focuses on individual skills and is geared toward higher level characters.

In VERSUS, the maximum HP of you and your summoned Demon will be increased significantly for the duration of the battle. However, if you summon a Demon after the battle has begun, it will not receive this HP bonus. Also, you will not gain XP in VERSUS mode and you and your demon do not suffer from penalty upon death; instead, you will be rewarded with BP (Battle Points), which you can exchange with items.

New Demons:

12 new Demons have been added. You may see some of them as the new Bosses on the field (such as Rafael), and you can only see some of them only by performing Double or Triple Fusion.

Demon Rebirth:

You can now "reset" the attributes of your contracted Demons by performing Demon Rebirth. For example, you may change a Demon who has superior speed into a Demon who has superior strength. Be careful though - the new Demon will be reverted to Level 1.

Other NEW contents:
  • Demon Locking - To prevent accidental surrendering or fusion, Demon Allies can be locked/unlocked.
  • Shared Demonic Compendium - All characters on an account can share the same Demonic Compendium.
  • Additional Plug-ins - 11 new Plug-ins are added to allow even more Demon Fusing.
  • Field Boss Changes - The following updates have been applied:
    • Shinjuku Dock: Boss respawn time is shortened.
    • Nakano: "Burning Three Eyed" Nyarlathotep, "Crawling Chaos" Nyarlathotep, and "Menace of Balance" Phantom were added.
    • Shibuya: "Mad, the Seraph" Rafael was added.
  • New Dungeon - A new dungeon is added to Suginami Tunnels
  • Special Fusions - Players can do special Tarot and Soul Stone Fusions.
  • Game Balance Improvements - 12 New Quests have been added.
  • Miscellaneous Additions:
    • Maximum level increased from 90 to 93.
    • New items are available to reset attributes and expertise for characters under level 30.
    • Drill COMP increases long-range attack.
    • Demon Celebration: When leveling up, Demon damage dealt increases by 50% for 10 minutes.
    • Pyro Jack is a new bazaar avatar.
    • In order to carry more money, there is a 50,000 macca note item.
    • New emoticons have been added (Turn, Backflip, Monkey Dance, Cry, and Fired Up).
    • Additional NPC shops are added to Home III.
    • DB Okabe has a training tutorial for summoning.
    • Player must accept confirmation before deleting an AP item.

However, the next few weeks will be very interesting for the US and the European fans of this game ;). Indeed this game kicks as and in my opinion Diablo 3 can't beat Hellgate in any way. Hellgate is definitely an awesome game!

the only reason that its similar to perfect world is because its the same graphic engine. i love this graphic engine because you don't need a high tech alien computer to function the game with amazing visuals! anyway, the ancient civilazations concept is original and cool. i can't wait to try this game!)

its really a great game with its own story and history(there were different Allods games for like, 10 years?) and though it really resembles wow in its design and graphic it surely rivals it
