PVP
Player versus Player (PvP)
Bring it on! Fight other players in world PvP and in instance-based Battlefields.
World PvP
Note: Once players reach level 30, world PvP will become a factor in most quests.
PvP Flag
When players enter neutral or enemy faction’s territory, they will automatically be flagged for PvP. When flagged, fiery swords will replace the standard dove up by the character’s information.
Players within their own faction’s lands can choose between having the PvP flag on or off. When the PvP flag is off, enemy players cannot attack, however as soon as one attacks an enemy player the flag will automatically turn on.
Rewards
Players who successfully slay another character will earn a Badge of Courage. Dying at the hands of another player has no penalty of experience or item loss. However, if the player is carrying Rations, indicated by a red glow, the dead player will lose some of their Rations to the victor. To learn more about Rations, visit the Items section.
Battlefields
Players seeking larger scale PvP need look no further than the Battlefields. The most interesting instances are Mount Dingjun and Xuzhou.
Mount Dingjun
This instance is a 5 vs 5 DotA-like map. Each team of 5 will start at one corner of the map and push down lanes to attempt to reach the other team’s side. Along the way, NPC monsters and generals will fight by your side, turrets will defend the fortresses, and supplies are ready to be collected. Killing the opposing team’s General NPC will result in a victory, and reward badges will be issued to the winners through the mail system.

Get Ready!
To participate, a full group must send their leader into the main town and talk to the Battlefield Administrator near the center of town. Once registered to play, the team will randomly be assigned to an opposing faction’s team. All members of the group must confirm to start when the battlefield is ready, and will be warped from wherever they are.
Get Set!
Once inside the map, players have a short period of time to pick a Champion they wish to play as. Throughout the fight, players will remain transformed as this Champion, so pick wisely. Once the team has picked their Champions, a general NPC will spawn to send players into the battlefield.
Go!
Players have 30 minutes to take out the opposing force’s General NPC. During this time various waves of monsters will spawn from both sides and push down one of three lanes to get to the other side’s base. Players may attack these monsters, enemy turrets and boxes to collect badges that will power them up. Killing monsters, turrets and other players will raise a player’s score. Should a player die, there will be a short wait before they respawn back in the safe zone.
Game Over
The match is over when one of the Generals is killed, or the time has expired. If the time runs out, the game is considered a draw. Once the game is over, players will see a scoring screen before they are warped back into their respective capital cities. Players can pick up their rewards at the Mailbox immediately after the game is completed. The prizes are as follows:
| Win |
10 Mount Dingjun War badge |
| Lose |
5 Mount Dingjun War badge
|
| Tie |
1 Mount Dingjun War badge

Xuzhou
Xuzhou is a “Capture the Flag” match. Teams will spawn in opposing bases with one simple objective: capture the other team’s flag!

Rules
Match requirements are nearly identical to Mount Dingjun. Each team needs five members all level 40+. The leader registers the team at the Battlefield Administrator in the capital city. All players must accept the match once in order to teleport to the battlefield. Unlike Mount Dingjun, players will be in their regular form and can only transform if their Champion transformation is ready.
Once the match has started, players will have 20 minutes to attempt to bring the opposing team’s flag back to their team’s base three times. If neither side is successful in capturing the flag all three times, the game is considered a draw. After the match is over, players will see a scoring screen before they are returned to their capital. Players can retrieve their rewards from the Mailbox. The rewards are as follows:
| Win |
5 Tokens |
| Lose |
3 Tokens |
| Tie |
1 Token |
Tokens can be exchanged at the Quartermaster for items. |
