Hip-Hop

We call it street dancing, consists of poping, locking; electric; turbo and house. It is easy to dance; co-ordinate and movement are very important in dancing, if you could make your body more flexibility and have a good control of dance steps. Practice more and you will gain more.

Poping Dance

Poping: Move your body just like a robot, tighten and relaxing your muscle, waving your body move and stop. You could use your shoulder, chest; arms and legs to move. It is a solo dance, belonging to the old school style.

Locking Dance

Locking dance is a sort of dance; lock means a feeling which incurred in your body, from your stomach to head, shocking and waving through your body movement. Locking dance was divided from poping, suddenly slow down or waving to make a perfect look. A great visual contrast will appear after you acted irregularly dance step even 1/3 beat.

Reggae Dance

Reggae comes from Rocksteady style, has taken a great developing in the 60`s, also Ska comes from Rocksteady. All these 3 music sorts root comes from original African-Caribbean music and mix with American culture, especially blues and new Orleans, meanwhile the dignity of black was waking up and this kind of music has improved swiftly.

Single power skill

Single power skill was called "breaking" in street dance culture, if you want dance like that, you need to be powerful, flexibility and co-ordinate. We call it sport dancing, which is the best favor by Chinese teenager. We call them B-boy/B-girl. In the 80`s of 20th century, DJ Kool Herc creates the conception of B-Boy/B-girl who`s called "Father of Hip-Hop".
