With the Warzone update, VR and non-VR players are able to play together in EVE: Valkyrie. CCP Games have new released the Winter Update for the title, bringing some new tools and features for players to enjoy. The Winter Update introduces a number of new features for the EVE: Valkyrie Warzone community. The first is the much requested Custom Matches, which means players no longer need to wait for a specific game mode to be available, since players can set up their own matches using EVE: Valkyrie Warzone‘s official dedicated servers. The lobby area can be controlled using passcodes, private invites and a public game browser. Users can also select specific options for map rotation and game mode as well as several other settings.

For player-run tournaments, many people want to get a close view of the action without running the risk of getting blown up themselves. For these users, Spectator Mode is now available, letting users follow the action either by zooming around the battlefield as a third-person camera, or pcik a viewing angle from fixed hotspots in key areas of the map.

Also newly introduced is support for Tobii and TrackIR head-tracking, which offers a more level playing-field to players both in and out of VR, with non-VR players able to use gesture control to survey the battlefield in a similar way to VR players. The update also implements the ‘look to lock’ feature for non-VR players.
