Guild Wars 2: Collect All the In-game Maps

Here comes the details:

Hello everyone. I have been working really hard on a project over the past week or two and I thought that you might be interested in my current progress.

You may remember some of my contributions to a previous thread, located here, which was started by MiggetMagic in an attempt to 'solve' the puzzle that was once the map of Tyria in Guild Wars 2.

The previous thread is now dead and buried and I would rather not resurrect it as I am much more suited to elemental magic rather than necromancy. It would also require MiggetMagic to update the first post and I have not yet had a response to the message that I have sent several days ago.

There are those who went to Gamescom and PAX who experienced the world map first hand. This is a small Christmas present for those who were unfortunately unable to go along.

Map Notes:

My copy of the world map exists as a 1.7GB PSD with 20000+px dimensions.
Due to limitations with the software I had access to, the world map had to be reduced to be 3000px wide in order to divide it up for use with Google Maps.
Most of the pieces of each map are scaled up to fit the highest quality sections.
I wrote the JavaScript by hand in order to use the Google Maps API V3. A script was generated for me but it used the old V2 API and to be honest was rather confusing to read. It is very basic and I hope to upgrade it further in order to place markers at points of interest, such as the racial cities and other places. I would possibly even include the approximate location of some of the Elder Dragons. I would also like to include GW1 map comparison overlays too.

Latest Update Notes:

22nd December 2010: UPDATE 1:
Thread started. Maps of Tyria, the Dragonbrand and Kryta are available are available in a Google Maps format. These maps need much improvement and possibly further zoom levels with a higher quality world map.

I apologise if there are any problems with the web host that the maps are stored on. I did not want to store these on my personal domain so I set up a free host solely for the maps. I chose a host that I had never used before that seemed to offer enough space and a large amount of bandwidth. If you experience any problems I will switch to a different free host unless someone with the resources available would like to hose these maps for me.

22nd December 2010: UPDATE 2:
Recently found a new map piece which shows much further north than originally thought to exist. Shows a body of water towards the North East of the world map. Unclear if any of these sections will be able to be explored. Will update world map after Christmas.
