Hoplon Infotainment is preparing a new genre of online fun by joining the emotion of massive games (MMOGs) with the social activities of virtual worlds (Metaverses), altogether in a single universe - the Taikodom Universe. In practical terms, players will be able to fight aboard their ships in deep space, and then walk around space stations with their avatars to chat and interact with other players.

Hoplon calls this brand new category MSG - Massive Social Game. This metaverse will be soon implemented in the next game expansions. There are also projected two other modules: A tactical game and a strategy game. The idea behind this innovation is to supply participants with the freedom to have fun as they please, at any time.

The action game already available plus the other three modules are going to work within the same universe: The change between one module to another is just a matter of players' choice, they can explore the interior of a space station with their avatar, or join colleagues in more complex activities (like in the tactical and strategic games).

All participants will be connected through one single server and interact inside one shared universe, independently from the game style choice, which diversifies possibilities for fun and interaction exchange.

Right now, there are thousands of ships across Taikodom. They are fighters, explorers, freighters and bombers; and each pilot is a player just like you (or even completely different, you never know...).

Taikodom is an MSG (Massive Social Game) where all players are connected through a single universal server. All action, including battles, unfolds in real time, and the game continues in progress even after you logout.

Start by customizing your own 3D avatar, and choosing a career - Hotshot, Juggernaut, Scout or Merchant - pick up a ship, and enjoy the endless in-game possibilities. From accomplishing the initial missions to joining huge corporations, there several paths to explore. Unpredictable combats, and a sophisticated economic realm, guarantee fun for all gamer profiles.

There are countless star systems to venture, and many space stations that explore different niches, like mining, commerce, and even tourism. The ships and scenery specially designed for the game have a high level of details and innovation.

Plus, a fictional universe created by Hoplon, in partnership with famed sci fi writer Gerson Lodi-Ribeiro, provides a solid background for player activity. The game is set in the 23rd century. Taken by surprise when a mysterious energy field blocked Earth, humankind has then expanded to the space, where people joined in different space communities. Several terrestrial humans have escaped Earth in suspended animation. Awakened by the Consortium, a sort of centralized government, these humans are now called resurrects, who have to struggle in order to guarantee a spot at space society. And you will enter Taikodom as one of them.

Its so good to live in 2009. Some online games have really good graphics and psp games are also getting better this year(I have the psp (hahahaha!!!!))

I have played WoW for over 4 years and well it was fun for a few years it does get old going to the same places and instances over and over. I just want a new game to play with differnt style of play and differnt ways to get around in the game i played perfect world ewwww is all can say the flying mounts r way to slow !! and the grinding is endless ..... kinda like that..... i have been playing runes of magic its kinda like wow but a chas shop and no fees. the timed mounts kinda blow chunks. I am now playing Aion and let me tell you I LOVE IT !!! So much differnt then WoW TRUST ME I KNOW !!! I love the fact we can fly in the game and if it says no fly you can still fly hehehe and combat in the air is way better then FLFF !!! take it from some one who knows her MMO's I have played them all i will p2p Aion 14.99 is not bad i also got the open beta key from buying the pre order at gamestop !! so go befor there all gone ! peace love and fruit loops!

a great article. your and my experience does not have much differences and i also like enjoying the game's sorroundings and doing quest with a group of people but having too much botters and cheaters really destroys my gaming experience.

Aion, as Beautiful as Before, Is Different to Me Now

Personally, I found Final fantasy XI to be a big let down. The pace of the game is so tedious. Being a big fan of the whole series on consoles- i expected quite a lot. However, Perhaps FFXIV may be different. F2P sounds good however a lot of riff raff usual entail with such things.

Sad....Is she that godly at CS?? I doubth it. Quiting school bad move. "models for a friend" = Doing Xrated things and degrating your self. Notice it's not a professional company. I mean honestly, if you can't even finish the basics which is (1st-12th grade) and graduate.... How much or a moron can you be??.... Her looks will fade, her hands will develop artritis and she will either get pregnant or catch an STD and end up working a dead end shitty job living with her parents. But this is after the whole CS thing blows up in her face.
