Step back in time to a place and era that never quite existed. Where steam engines trundle down the avenues and vendors hawk their wares! The sounds, the sights, the mysteries - all await you and your friends. It's similar with the game Mysterious Island, plenty of puzzles waiting for your exploring!

Come, journey to Gatheryn, a massive multi-player world of adventure, mystery and romance. Make your way through an ever expanding world, making new friends and enemies as you work through interactive games and puzzles, new adventures appearing with each successful solution. You can hop aboard the nearest air ship to reach a myriad of destinations or just to satisfy the explorer inside you.

Assume any of various roles of Victorian themed characters as you explore, socialize and quest your way through this amazing world. Scurry along the wharves and climb the riggings on wooden tall ships the likes of which you have never experienced before. Traipse along the avenues or skulk through the cemetery as the full moon lights your way. This is a time and place of mysteries to be unraveled and puzzles to be conquered, of land to explore and life to be LIVED!!

The Story

Gatheryn is a story of a people struggling to free themselves from the yoke of a powerful overlord who creates and controls their primary source of energy and light. It is also a story of love and romance, power and corruption.

Gatheryn cloaks its bewitching story in a truly magical atmosphere, evoking the worlds of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea or H.P. Wells' The Time Machine. Strange lamps penetrate the fog that shrouds the elegant Victorian houses and rural farms and settlements of Gatheryn. This fantasy Victorian era is enhanced by the strange steam-powered machines that the people have developed with the limited power sources at their disposal. Steam-powered dirigibles and exotic ships, which glide through the air and on the sea, further give shape to this world of imagination, while the constant turning of the wind machines provides a moving backdrop.

Gatheryn brings to life a world of adventure, mystery and romance, and weaves a story that will thrill and excite anybody who enjoys a fantasy world, a quest filled adventure or a land to explore alone or in the company of friends.

Game Play

Gatheryn is an interactive massive multi-player world of adventure, mystery and romance. You assume the role of a Victorian themed character as you explore, socialize and quest your way through the world. You have the option of complete customization of your character and your character's home and you have the option of choosing which quests you play and where in the world you play them. Gatheryn is designed to allow you to chose your preferred balance between exploration, adventure and quests, or socialization with your friends and the new friends you will meet out in the world or at home in your lodgings.

On arrival in Gatheryn, you will explore Fog Town on Elymia Island the first of Gatheryn's unique lands. Interact with the characters that inhabit Fog Town like Vivian and Ambrose and you will be invited to undertake quests each of which will include mini-games and puzzles that are spread throughout the Island. Visit the town itself, the docks and fairground, or go further afield to explore the farms and forests, the hills and beaches, or climb the slopes of the volcano to visit the castle of Elymia's overlord, Marcellus Deering but do so with care.

Each quest will challenge you to play and master mini-games and puzzles. When you discover a new mini-game you can simply click to play. Each game gives you the opportunity to win silver pieces that you can spend in the shops of Fog Town on costumes and accessories or on a pet (perhaps a ferret or a steam driven mechanical monkey) who will join you on your adventures. Silver pieces are also the currency that will allow you to rent, furnish and decorate your own lodgings to which you can invite your friends to visit and socialize.

Gatheryn will constantly expand as new islands are added and new mini-games are released. Expect to be constantly surprised by your adventures and as you join with your new friends in solving mysteries and completing quests. Gatheryn brings to life a world of adventure, mystery and romance, and weaves a story that will thrill and excite anybody who enjoys a fantasy world, a quest filled adventure or a land to explore alone or in the company of friends.

a great article. your and my experience does not have much differences and i also like enjoying the game's sorroundings and doing quest with a group of people but having too much botters and cheaters really destroys my gaming experience.

Aion, as Beautiful as Before, Is Different to Me Now

Personally, I found Final fantasy XI to be a big let down. The pace of the game is so tedious. Being a big fan of the whole series on consoles- i expected quite a lot. However, Perhaps FFXIV may be different. F2P sounds good however a lot of riff raff usual entail with such things.

Sad....Is she that godly at CS?? I doubth it. Quiting school bad move. "models for a friend" = Doing Xrated things and degrating your self. Notice it's not a professional company. I mean honestly, if you can't even finish the basics which is (1st-12th grade) and graduate.... How much or a moron can you be??.... Her looks will fade, her hands will develop artritis and she will either get pregnant or catch an STD and end up working a dead end shitty job living with her parents. But this is after the whole CS thing blows up in her face.
