Alien Adoption Agency, a unique browser-based game, in which you adopt and train an alien, and have it fight its way to the top. Known for an active and close community, the many guilds and forums provide not only a game, but a whole world away from reality. Ever seen the Earth rise?
Overview
Being an alien isn't all fun and games. Everyone always wants to battle, unemployment's on the rise, buses are always crowded, a decent cup of tea is a simple impossibility, and the apocalypse is running late but should be here momentarily. And let's not mention the bathtub...
Gameplay
You have a tutorial as soon as you sign up as to how to navigate the site. It shows you all the basic things; school, battle, buying items, banking, etc. But there are many things you have to figure out on your own.
There are many different ways in which you can make money on Alien Adoption Agency by: battling, entering the lottery and playing casino games, and playing games such as Executioner's Square (their form of hangman.)
With the battling system you can choose many different users to fight your alien against. Based on the difficulty and level of your opponent you can win game currency, but also have your alien killed or injured in the process. But there is nothing to worry about, you can harvest green herbs in order to bring your alien's health back up, or even revive your alien using blue herbs.
With the lottery, you are to choose five numbers from 0-9 in order to purchase a ticket for 10,000 credits.Based on the amount of numbers you match with the winning ticket, you can win anywhere from 10%-50% of the jackpot. In the casino you can play Blackjack, Slot Machines, and Dice Poker, but of course you must pay credits in order to play.
Although it may seem gruesome, you can also play Alien Adoption Agency's version of Hangman called Executioner's Square. You play just like regular hangman, but instead of a stick figure you are actually hanging your own alien when you guess an incorrect letter. You can win 50-250 credits depending on the difficulty of the game you play.
