There's a first time for everything. Do you remember the first time you played games? What brings you wanna become a player? I think most players played video games when they were still very young, such as Contra, Super Mario. And this maybe the first experience of game for them. Or some may started their game journey by PC games or PSP, Wii. Or, maybe some just began from MMOs. We may come from different countries, we may played games on different platforms, we may played different games, however, we are all players. What is the first game you played?
Then, let's have a general view about what happened last week.

Wurm Online is a community-centric fantasy MMORPG developed in Java and OpenGL that strives to emulate real life in a medieval fantasy setting. Compared with 3D MMOG, Wurm Online's graphics are indeed a little too rough, though it requires low computer specifications.

What's so great about the Blizzard is that they are really put their mind to do everything about the game which they imaged and they bring excitements every year to the fans of destined series. Are you look forward to the quite different new game from Blizzard. Shall we take a view of the next MMO made by Blizzard?
Every game has rules and a means of breaking those rules. Videogames, which are among the most complex games on the planet, feature suitably complex means of cheating. There are in-game codes, hacks, mods, code-altering devices...
Blizzard Entertainment is, by many measures, the world's most successful game developer. It's not only got a string of hits to its name, it has also consistently demonstrated an astonishing ability to deliver longevity.
I had a great time Saturday at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational 2008, and I'd like to share some impressions of the event. You can find videos of the opening ceremony and various debate panels elsewhere...
One of the most challenging aspects of game creation is finding out what your target audience likes. After finding that out, your second challenge is taking that information and coming up with something acceptable to the masses.
MMORPGs should be done at release. I simply do not understand where people picked up the notion that simply because MMORPGs are ever evolving and changing worlds that they can be underdeveloped and unfinished.
All MMOs have the same basic elements just like all fantasy books have the same basic things in them. It's just little tiny differences between one and the other so it really doesn't matter wether it's korean or what ever just play it.
I like S4 Leageue, its pretty fun. The Gfx aren't bad, the music is fun and energetic. However the game gives me a headache after an hour or so playing....
There is a bit of an issue as far as Lag goes. It's the specific person/player lagging, not the entire server.
Other than that though...its pretty fun. Oh and I had my first experience with a hacker/glitcher/cheater. God it was annoying...
Champion Online will be just as horrible as City of Heroes/Villians. My money is on DC Universe Online, DC has some the best heroes of all time. Imagine fight along side Batman or Superman. I know SOE is working with WB and they messed up both Star Wars Galaxies and The Matrix, but who knows. They might actual get it right with DCUO. None the less I know Cryptic and they suck way more than Sony.
Mabi is fairly easy if you play it for longer than 2 weeks. But does it need skill? Hardly. It takes mental conditioning to the system, and repetition of the few successful tactics. A trained monkey can do this crap.
The PvE system takes some getting used to for sure, but when you learn a set of tactics to use against the basic types of dungeon monsters, that's all you'll ever use (from a range of 5 chains of skills/attacks).
Same goes for bosses. You use the fire-counter (maybe slow walk if it's a stomping boss) and you can do it. Again pretty basic...
S4 all the way. S4 follows the instructions of the game way more than gunz. In gunz I find ppl try to beat the system alot by not fighting "straight up". Like the whole slash-shot gun move. After that gunz jus lost it's taste to me. i really like s4 much better.
Don't know what NCsoft is up to, but whatever they are doing, they are doing it nicely, and it ain't hurting nobody. Just love how NCsoft is now investing in games that will stand a chance to live just as long as Maplestory (don't you DARE boo me). Another game to make room in my hard-drive for.
But why they always make games in such catoon graphics?
Really I don't get it-.- to be honest i like the skill effects and so on but why why using that character disign? i mean i wanna play a game in which the chars look like mature figures and not like little freaking kiddys with overdimensional weapons>.<
