According to Next-Gen.biz, Interplay confirmed plans for a post apocalyptic Fallout MMO. The company sold the intellectual property to Bethesda in April 2007 and is currently trying to come up with enough funds to continue the licensed MMO.

The increased net revenue stemmed from Bethesda paying US5.75 million for Interplay's Fallout franchise. Interplay is not only intent on reinventing Fallout for the MMO space, but the company is also attempting to secure "at least" US30 million to revive old IPs such as Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent, and MDK.
Interplay sold Fallout in 2007 while obtaining a license back, under certain conditions, to create and develop a Fallout MMOG. Bethesda now owns the Fallout IP, and is currently working on Fallout 3 (and if you didn't know that, where the hell have you been?). Interplay originally announced its intention to create a Fallout MMO back in 2004.
