In the second beta, testers will first focus on testing direct portals where the PvP between the Elyos and the Asmodians starts. In order to protect beginners, direct portals won't be available in the beginner zone.

In the first closed beta, many players complained that there is not much difference between the Elyos and the Asmodians. But according to Ju Hyeong-jang, in the second closed beta, there will be a lot of changes concerning character customization.

The PvP in Aion can be done in may ways not available in any other games. But till now no players have done PvP in any such way. The hint is, in fact the skill description can't fully explain that skill. With a little more brain twisting, players will be able to experience more exciting PvP.

Furthermore, one Abyss PvP zone will be available in the second closed beta. 9 fortresses, unique dungeons dwelling with gigantic monsters and more can be found there.
