Recently, Korean NCsoft announced to delay the second closed beta test of Aion. During an interview by a Korean media, Ju Hyeong-jang, head of the Aion product development team, revealed some details about the second beta of Aion.
The biggest change in the second closed beta of Aion will be the new maps. The new maps will be four times in size of the maps released in the first closed beta. They tend to become more dangerous and desolate as players go farther from the city center. Of course, there will be powerful monsters which will drop decent items. And there are also a multitude of quests. The quests in the second closed beta are mainly to help players transit to the new maps.
In addition, in order to test the Abyss PvP zone, the level cap in the second beta will be limited below 30 because the level requirement for the plyers to enter the Abyss is mid-20.
