Capcom and Daletto announced on January 16th, 2008 that the PC online game Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation based on the popular fighting game series Street Fighter will be launched in the spring of 2008 in Japan.

Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation will start closed beta on Feb. 13th, 2008 local time in Japan. Capcom is currently recruiting closed beta testers for the game. More details are as follows:

・Tester recruitment: 17:00 pm Jan. 29th, 2008 - 17:00 pm Feb. 4th, 2008 (local time)

・Closed beta testing: Feb. 13th, 2008 ¨C Feb. 19th, 2008 (local time)

・How to apply: visit the official site http://daletto.jp/sfo/, sign up for a free annount and apply for joining closed beta testing.

・Tester selection: Testers will be selected among all the applicants.

・Notification: All the selected testers will receive a notification email from Capcom on Feb. 12th, 2008.

Game Intro

Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation is an online fighting game controlled through a mouse. Players can enjoy the game simply with the mouse, while throwing away the traditional six-button and joystick controls. Moving mouse upward is for jump. Left click is for punch and right click is for kick.. The combination of mouse movement and keys can create various ultimate skills.

Players can customize their characters¡¯ head, wrist, body and feet. At the start, only four characters are playable, including Ryu and Chun-Li, two key characters from Street Fighter series, and Hico and Taran from one of Jin Yong¡¯s martial arts novels. More characters will be available for play as development work progresses.
