With all the recent games lately I have been one busy little bee. For the past few weeks now, I have been downloading, playing, analyzing and then reviewing. Though, like may of you I am sure, I am a real game lover and am willing to try just about anything once, yet lately I have been rather disappointed with what has been coming out. Yet, when I finally got into play the Open beta version I was, for the first time in months now, pleasantly surprised and actually enjoyed playing what I was about to review.
Holic online has just recently been released to western players and is hosted by Netgames, yet I believe this game has already enjoyed much success and popularity in other, non-English speaking countries, but don't quote me on that.
Like all MMO games, once you have logged in you are then prompted to create you character. Firstly, you have a choice of two races, one being human and the other being some kind of super cute, pygmy squirrel type creatures, with adorable little outfits. Unlike other games, which are similar in style, Holic allows you to choose your character class from the get go, rather than going through some really long and boring beginner type class, before actually being allowed to get your hands on some decent skills.
