Come on now, surely I am not the only one who sees a problem with this. I mean given I am a fantasy lover and writer, thus might be more picky than most.

Raise the mast, hoist up the flag, load the cannons and ready the blasting powder and muskets, by Neptune, the sun shall rise upon a crimson sea come dawn.Yes, as you have well figured out, pirates, by today's standards anyway, are really cool. They are rough, tough, free, and lawless. They womanize openly, talk cheaply, fight dirty and drink heavily. Well at least that his how they are portrayed in the movies anyway and seriously, when you think about it, who would not want to live out their lives sailing the seven seas in search of treasure and plunder.
Hell, I don't even like going to the beach, but even I would have to say that it sounds like a pretty sweet deal and given the chance, I would gladly trade in my pen and key board for a cutlass, flagon of ale and tangled beard. Now, as you might know, there was once a small ride called Pirates of the Caribbean, which later went on to become an unimaginably popular trilogy starring none other than Mr. Johnny Depp, in the lead role of Captain Jack Sparrow.
In terms of economic profit margins, these movies enjoyed amazing success and that is not even to mention the merchandise that followed. Now, in consideration of the popularity surrounding the movies, it might not be a surprise to many of you, that Disney studios, who own the rights to the production, decided to launch a MMORPG using the movies setting and layout as its foundation.
