South Korea-based NEXON announced on Dec. 17th, 2007 that their new title Counter Strike Online will launch its first closed beta test on Dec. 20th, 2007 in South Korea, five months after NEXON signed the licensing agreement with US-based Valve Software in July, 2007.
Counter Strike Online is a MMOFPS based on Counter Strike developed by Valve Software. The MMO version will add 8 weapons, 4 maps and 8 characters based on the content of Counter Strike. NEXON will release the game in Mainland China, South Korea and Japan.
