The famous French publisher and developer Ubisoft has just announced the release plan in spring 2008 for their new Web-based game Heroes of Might and Magic, in a co-development with Chinese developer TQ Digital.
The game will require no download or installation to play, merely an Internet connection. Beta test keys are included in copies of Heroes of Might and Magic: Complete Edition, which ships today, or interested parties can register at the official website.
"This is a new type of game for Ubisoft, one that allows you to jump into a rich and complex universe just with your Web browser," said Serge Hasco?t, Ubisoft¡¯s chief creative officer. "Heroes of Might and Magic Kingdoms will open a wide door to the Might and Magic universe, allowing players to immerse themselves within it unlike ever before."
