In HighStreet 5, you can wear the latest trends and fashion to dance amongst fireworks and chic lighting in extravagant 30-person dance halls along with the latest hit music. Talk to others online and see them face-to-face using the in-game video chat, and hook up with your friends and family in the Friends system to make it easy to get together and dance. How do you make more friends? How can you be the center of attention? What could help you make your way into someone else's heart? Be daring and show off your greatest dance moves using HighStreet 5's single player dance mode, and choose your center stage in any of the 17 in-game locations including beaches, ports, underwater clubs, rooftops and more!

Venture into any of the in-game locations and choose to enter one of at least 5 dance halls for each location. Upon entering, you can choose to dance wherever you want in the hall, which can contain up to 30 people. When you choose "Single Dance", you are greeted with five different options on how to dance; Common Steps, Song Steps, Common Steps for 8 Keys, Song Steps for 8 Keys and Free Steps. The first four options can be classed according to different dance styles and controls while Free Steps is a unique dance option that is different from the other four.
