On the 15/9/17, the greatly anticipated free-to-play MMORPG, Exteel was finally released for open-beta, allowing gamers to jump in and experience, first hand, the brutal, metal grinding, combat that one would expect from giant gun and sword wielding mechanized giants hell-bent on nothing, but the oblivion of one another. And having spent a few sleepless nights testing my metal, as it were, on the pvp severs, I am one happy reviewer and proud to announce, this game certainly lived up to all its expectations. Yet, of course being little more than a humble gamer myself, this is only my opinion and I would greatly encourage anyone interested in trying the game, to do so.
Essentially, the main theme of this game is pvp action, so if you are not into hunting down both friend and foe and slashing chunks of metal from their armor, right before placing a well-aimed bullet between their eyes, I would think that this is not the type of game for you.
When you first launch the game, you will be taken through a short tutorial process. Though you can end this at any time, I strongly recommend that you see it through. This brief introduction to the game will take you, systematically, through the basics of game play, such as movement, dashing, jumping, aiming, melee combat and utilizing the environment in order to protect yourself from incoming fire. Trust me; the last one is a crucial skill to learn for anyone who has desires of becoming skilled in this game. Furthermore, completing the advanced tutorial lessons will also enable you to get yourself some free gear, including one very large siege cannon, a sword and shield, two smgs and a pair of long distance rifles.
The controls of the game are WASD for movement and double tapping for boot. Your two mouse buttons basically represent each of your arms, left activating what is held in that hand and right, what ever is held in the right hand.
