Fantasy Tennis Guide 2 (By Radu_Avr) -- 2007-10-18
KeyWord: fantasy tennis,guide,T3 Entertainment Date: 2007-10-18
Summary: This review written by Radu_Avr and it is from MMOSite Froum.
I suggest sides if you don?t know your teammate well, because you may not synchronize well enough with him. He does not know your strategy, and you don`t know his. And it`s a pretty good mode. Sometimes it`s better than front and back, other times not. Sides means both of you cover your own sides. It usually isn`t very effective attacking-wise. It`s better suited for defense players. You also leave very little open weakpoints compared to front and back. However, front and back is extremely useful for attacking players. If the net player receives a ball and if he`s experienced enough, he can easily transform it into a point without much effort, by simply net dropping. Or, the others would lob past the net player to the back player, and keep doing that until he makes a mistake (or doesn`t have enough speed to catch up with the ball). But still, you can surprise them by suddenly going back and smashing the ball when it`s lobbed, if you`re fast enough stat-wise and keyboard-wise.

Don`t bother running to high lobs if you`re the net player. Try getting the mid lob when your instinct tells you that you can. I strongly suggest you get the small lob. It doesn`t require a lot of skills in order to do so, and it`s very useful (unless your teammate didn`t expect it and is in a place where he cannot get the ball if it is lobbed). You should think about that too. Don`t relax yet after you think you scored a point, or he may catch you offguard. Don`t rely on your teammate to get the balls unless he`s skilled and trustful. But I do NOT mean to get every ball that was supposed to be his.

Just stand closer to him sometimes, and be ready to react when he makes a mistake. Do NOT charge their rackets up (basically when it allows them to do a special smash) if you don`t have a racket that could be charged yourself. And every opponent has a weak stat. Make sure you "abuse" of his weak point. Also, don`t try to be balanced in stats, or do as you wish. Add to stats your playing style. I suggest keeping to only one stat, though. Remember something. Some clothes and rackets cover up for your weak points, and you can just focus training a stat that clothes and rackets don`t raise, if you want. That will eliminate one weak point. For example, WIL. It is a very useful stat. And not many clothes raise it, or if they do, by a little amount (only clothes I know that raise it are head items). Do you need help in Guardian mode?
