Recently, NCsoft entered into a license agreement with NEXTPLAY to operate Punch Monster in South Korea.

Punch Monster is a side-scrolling casual MMORPG developed by NEXTPLAY fit for minors. It has the following basic features: animation style 2D graphics incorporating 3D technology, battles requiring the combination of action and strategy, monsters with personalized appearance and different motion modes, and the story is developed through quests and missions.

According to NCsoft, Punch Monster will become one of the main titles that it will focus on. And it is expected that it will launch its Alpha test in the fourth quarter of this year.

NCsoft used to focus on developing and publishing MMORPGs which are fit for grownups. But now it seems that it has changed its strategy. Through signing ATrix, SPJAM, Punch Monster and other casual online games, it has laid a solid foundation for the diversified development of the company.
