Does anyone here remember the old Poring stuffed toy that Level-up bundled with top-up cards before? I think at one point they even sold it at around 200-250 pesos. To those who weren`t able to get one, itĄ¯s basically a cotton based poring that was really more of a promo in terms of quality. I`ve been thinking of re-making the poring doll and making it more modern and more in tune with the current consumer needs and wants. If you think about it, the timing is kinda good! We`re launching RO2 soon so not only is this a great way to promote RO, we`re also doing hype for RO2 when it comes out later this year. I was able to pull some strings with my friends from China and they were able to do proto types for free. Here`s the picture of the next "Poring" for RO2 - the Pukui!
By the way, before we check the pictures of the stuffed toys, I`d like to share with everyone the material we`re going to use. Do you know the stuffed toys with the small little beans in them? Kinda like the beanie bag? I`m sure that you`ve seen some of those, especially in the malls. Were doing away with the old dusty poring that`s kinda hard with all the weird cotton inside. This time we`re going for a more soft and almost spandex like stuffed toy filled with cotton beads inside. We`re going to set-up a Focused Group Discussion this Friday and I`ll actually be able to show the real dolls to the players who go. Take note that these are JUST PROTO TYPES. We`re still going to make comments and suggestions on how to make them look better. This ain`t final and there`s a good chance that when the dolls actually come out, they`ll be way cuter and erĄ cuddlier, LOL. Anyway, without further delay - RO2`s Pukui!
