Korean MMORPG 4Story started open beta in Korea at April 25. 4Story is an MMORPG depicting the warfare between three kingdoms, namely Military Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Mercenary Kingdom and unveiling the reasons for the warfare and its significance.

From its early stage of development, 4Story has been receiving a lot of attention from gamers because it looks like an exact copy and rip off of WoW, like the graphics, interface, monster killing and even combat mode. When a character dies, the screen will turn black and white. In addition, its taskbar and quest mode, as well as maps and inventory window are extremely like World of Warcraft.

Some other gamers say, "Game play and graphics are like WoW, but characters and items are like ffxi."

ZEMI Interactive, the developer of 4Story protested that the graphics and game systems of a RPG game are only a tool used to reflect the game world and storyline. Game world and storyline are the parts which determine whether a game is good or not. Concerning the other parts, the company designed them in the way which gamers are familiar with.
