Overview
Features
Bloodline Champions is a PVP game with short, intense matches for up to ten players divided into two teams. Every player plays one of several different bloodlines with 7 unique abilities each.
Different bloodlines in a set up complement eachother, different maps and gamemodes need different tactics, so good teamwork is a must for success.
Chance is not a factor, spells and abilities do a set amount of damage. Random elements such as critical hits and passive abilities do not exist.
Spells travel to where the player aims and can be avoided by enemy players, making every ability dependant on individual player skill.
Without mana and creeps, the game has almost zero downtime and is instead based on short cooldowns, this coupled with no grind or farming ensures that every match is full of action.

How to play
The mouse pointer is primarily used to direct abilities. All non-automatic abilities are directed towards the mouse pointer. The mouse pointer also controls the camera if camera control is activated.
Opponents are the players in the opposing team, their name and health bar use the colors of their team (Orange for the warm team, blue for the cold team). The mouse pointer can be used as a way to distinguish an enemy; its color will change inte red when hovering over an opponent.
The player character has three different bars directly overhead. A health bar, an energy bar and an activation bar showing the characters progress in using an ability. The player character's movement is controlled using the W, A, S and D buttons.
The Team information bar contains allies names, health and character portraits.
The activation bar is shown while using an ability. When the activation bar is full the ability will be activated.

The Character information section in the lower middle of the screen shows the player characters health bar, energy bar and ability icons. The health bar is depleted when the player character takes damage. When the health bar is completely empty the player character will die. The energy bar is charged when the player successfully uses an ability. When the energy bar is completely filled the player can use his ultimate ability with the F or 7 keys. Using an ultimate ability drains all energy. The ability icons can be hovered with the mouse to display information describing the different abilities available.
The Buff and Debuff bars show what status effects the player character is currently affected by.
The minimap is a small, zoomed out overhead map centered on the player character. This map shows the player character and allied characters as well as enemy characters in the field of vision. The minimap also contains some game mode specific information...
