The character creating is similar as Jianghu life and Wuxia Novel in Age of Wushu. It is an individualized setting. The freedom is game is obvious. It is different from other games in appearance setting and choosing script and exploring Jianghu. Where there are people, there is Jianghu. Age of Wushu gives players real experience.
In Age of Wushu, each account can only create one character and it is the unique feature of Jianghu.After imputing account and log in game for the first time, player can enter creating character interface.
- The First Step：Choose the Script
This is one of the feature of Age of Wushu: player need to choose one from the 4 scripts Sword without Name, The Record of Washing Sword in Tian Hill, Scholar Legend, Phenix Pleadge. Choose different script, and player will be born at different novice village and start Jianghu adventure. After choose a script, the player is not a individual person in game, but a person connected with the whole script.
- The Second Step: Create Character's Appearance
It includes name, face and clothes. Player can set the face, hairstyle, clothes, gender and head icon.The name system of Age of Wushu uses Hundred Family Name system. It has single family name and double family name. The family name should be chosen and the first name can be set by the player. None-mainstream word can't be used in name.
The makeup and creating is popular for female players. Player can create a Jianghu appearance depending on his taste. After setting character's gender, appearance and name, player can enter game and experience the real wuxia wolrd in Age of Wushu.
Age of Wushu provided two different operation mode for players to customize.

Use keyboard to control movement, use left button of the mouse to adjust visual angle and right button to control character's orientation under this operating mode. Visual angle can be adjusted freely. Meanwhile you can move and adjust visual angle by left and right mouse buttons. It's suitable for players who love 3D/FPS visual angle in the game.
Players can switch operating method by clicking [System Settings -> Customized Settings -> Operational Assistant -> Checking Operating Method or Paging on the Top of Customized Settings] / [System Settings -> Button Settings -> Paging on the Top] You can switch operating method at any time. Meanwhile, the relative [Button Settings] will also be switched.
Operating mode is not completely static. Players can adjust slightly under relative modes under [System Settings -> Customized Settings -> Shot / Mouse].
Hand-eye coordination is the key.

Click left mouse button to move under this operating mode. You can use the right button to adjust role's orientation. Role can't draw back but only move forward and move towards left and right. It's suitable for Nine Yin special combat system.
Players could switch operating mode by clicking [System Settings -> Customized Settings -> Operational Assistant -> Checking Operating Method or Paging on the Top of Customized Settings] / [System Settings -> Button Settings -> Paging on the Top]. You can switch operating method any time. The relative [Button Settings] will switch accordingly.
Operating mode is not constant completely. Players can adjust slightly under relative modes under [System Settings -> Customized Settings ->Shot / Mouse].
It's simple to operate. It's easy for newcomers to get familiar with it. It's a great choice for players who feel dizzy with 3D. You can play with mouse easily.
Qi and Blood: Character's HP. When Qi and Blood are 0, the Character is Seriously Injured. And if there is no one to help, the Character may in shock. Qi and Blood can recover quickly through Sitting, Pills and other ways. It can also recover slowly under infighting state (related with rate and Stamina Attributes). When character's Qi and Blood recovers quickly in increasing state, the color of Qi and Blood line is bright. Otherwise the color is dark.
Internal Force: Character's important Attribute. And most Moves need enough Internal Force to use. Internal Force can recover quickly through Sitting, Pills and other ways. It can also recover slowly under infighting state (related with rate and Stamina Attributes). When character's Internal Force recovers quickly in increasing state, the color of Qi and Blood line is bright. Otherwise the color is dark.
Flying Skill: Character's important Attribute. And most Flying Skills need enough Flying Skill Value to use, and some Continuous Flying Skills need to cost Flying Skill Value continuously. Generally Flying Skill Value recovers through automated recovering, and the more Flying Skill Value is, the quicker recover rate is.
Energy: Important Life Attribute. Most producing and life need to cost Energy, and it recovers every five minutes. The rate is related with the Satiety Attribute, and it can recover the Max Energy.
Satiety: Assistive Life Attribute. The higher Satiety is, the faster Energy Recovers. Satiety generally recovers through eating food which is produced by cook, and Satiety will cost automatically over time.
Slaughter: Behaviors of dishonesty will increase the Killing Value, and it will detonate hunting for high value of killing. After shock, the character will be imprisoned. The more killings are, the longer time is to be imprisoned.
Brawn: Character's Basic Attribute. It can Increase Close Power, External Force Critical Rate, and amount of Max Qi and Blood.
Balance: Character's Basic Attribute. It can increase Distance Power, Accuracy Rate of External Skill, Dodge and amount of Parry Endurance.
Breath: Character's Basic Attribute. It can increase Internal Skill Power, and increase plenty of Max Internal Force.
Spirit: Character's Basic Attribute. It can increase Internal Skill Hit Rate, increase Internal Skill Critical Rate, increase small amount of Max Internal Force, amount of Defense for Internal Skills and rate of Internal Skill Recovering.
Stamina: Character's Basic Attribute. It can Increase Max Qi and Blood, Resilience, and Parry Endurance.
Dodge: It could obtain from Balance Attribute, and influence others' Hit Rate to you. The faster Dodge is, the less opportunity is to hit.
Resilience: It could obtain from Stamina Attribute, and influence the rate of Critical Hit. The higher the Resilience is, the less Critical Hit shoots.
Parry for External Force Skills: It decides the percentage of External Skill Damage can be reduced after the Player Parry successfully.
Defense for External Skills: It could obtain from Equipments, and reduce the External Skill Damage of the Player.
Defusion for Internal Skills: It decides the percentage of Internal Skill Damage can be reduced after the Player Parry successfully.
Close Distance Power: It could obtain from Brawn Attribute, and Increase the Damage of Melee External Force Attack.
External Skill Accuracy: It could obtain from Balance Attribute, and influence the Player's Hit Rate of External Force Attack. The higher External Skill Accuracy is, the higher rate of External Skill Accuracy is.
External Force Critical Rate: It could obtain from Brawn Attribute, and influence the rate of Critical Hit after External Force Attack. The higher External Force Critical Rate is, the easier Critical Hit of External Force Attack is.
Long Distance Power: It could obtain from Balance Attribute, and increase the damage of ranged attack for Hidden Weapon.
Internal Skill Power: It could obtain from Breath Attribute, and increase the damage of Internal Skill Attack.
Internal Skill Hit Rate: It could obtain from Spirit Attribute, and influence the Player's Hit Rate of Internal Force Attack. The higher Internal Skill Accuracy is, the higher rate of Internal Skill Accuracy is.
Internal Skill Critical Rate: It could obtain from Spirit Attribute, and influence the rate of Critical Hit after Internal Force Attack. The higher Internal Force Critical Rate is, the easier Critical Hit of Internal Force Attack is.
Parry Endurance: It could obtain from Balance and Stamina Attributes. It costs Parry Endurance when Parrying Attacks, and if there is no Parry Endurance the Character can't Parry Attacks.
Defense for Toughness: It can reduce Player's Hardness Damage, and it could obtain from Spirit Attribute.
Defense for Softness: It can reduce Player's Softness Damage, and it could obtain from Spirit Attribute.
Defense for Yin Damage: It can reduce Player's Yin Damage, and it could obtain from Spirit Attribute.
Defense for Yang Damage: It can reduce Player's Yang Damage, and it could obtain from Spirit Attribute.
In the Age of Wushu, you will frequently come across tasks that require beating up monsters. This might entail beating them up in order to collect Items.

If it is required for a task, you can click on the Monster's name as shown in the Task Reminder and its position icon will appear on the map as a yellow, upside-down cone. Run to the cone and you can fight the Monster.
If the task involves requested materials or anything else, you can hit M to pull up the map and see the Force Tab. Below that is a space to enter in the Monster's name. Then click to search. If the map has the Monster you want to want, then in the area below you will see options in red characters. Run to the Monster's location to find its whereabouts.
Of course you are free to select your course of action, so if the Monsters nearest to you appear in need of a beating, you can deliver one as you see fit. Remember to check the monster's Capability and compare it with your own. After you pick a Monster, above its HP Bar and to the right of its name will be a small circle. Click on it and you can compare your own skills to its. There are five components to it, and each color represents a Monster's different potential levels of Power. Red means it is the baddest of the bad, orange is still superlatively mighty, yellow is a force to be reckoned with, green is about par with your own skills, and blue is a pushover. We recommend you select green or blue targets.
When you want to beat up a Monster, you can use the Tab key or the left mouse button to select one and home in on him. At this point you can clearly see the monster's red circle. As soon as you approach the Monster you can rain blows on him.
In addition, the game has many unlocked Movements, and as long as the Monster within striking range you can beat him up without having to home in on him by clicking or pressing Tab.
In "Age of Wushu" there are 8 major Schools, including World-Famous righteous Schools like Shaolin and Wudang, neutral Schools like Scholars and evil Schools like Royal Guards.
Which School would you pick? No matter what, you need to find out how to join a School in "Age of Wushu".
There is one requirement for joining any Schools which is you have to reach 383 points in Jianghu Reputation. How do you get Jianghu Reputation Points? It is really simple: just finish some of the Guided Tasks.
When your Jianghu Reputation Points reaches 383, the Guided Task will remind you to join a School. Then you just need to find the nearby School Guide or Carter and talk with it to choose the School to join.
There are two special Schools in Jianghu that you should pay attention to the special rules if you want to join. The Scholars are filled with literary and educated people. The Beggars will not accept anyone who is not willing to suffer with them. So to join Scholars, you need to learn one of the cultural professions such as Calligrapher, Painter, Chess Player, or Musician. If you want to join Beggars, you must become a Beggar first.
There is great freedom in "Age of Wushu" so you can choose to not join any Schools. But when you do join a School you will learn 3 sets of external skills and one set of internal skills. So we recommend people to join if possible.
When you are travelling in Jianghu as a novice, finding friends who can assists you is the best way to explore this vast new land. However, sometimes you might have to separate to go to different locations.
In real life, you can call your friends to update them. How do you keep contacts with your friends in "Age of Wushu"? You can use the Jianghu System to add in Friends then he will show up in your "Friends" Interface. By clicking on him, you can talk to him when he is online and send him gifts for special occasions. Let's learn how to add Friends in the Jianghu System.
When you are at the same place as your friend within the game, you can click on him, right click on his avatar and select "Add as Friend" within the menu to add him.
When you are not at the same place as your friend, you can click on "My Jianghu" at the bottom left corner to enter the "Jianghu" System. Select "Relationship" to enter the "Relationship" Page then click "Find" button at the lower right corner, input his name to find him. When the System finds him, click on him and click on "Add as Friends" to add him as friend.
In addition, if you happen to see him in the Chat Channel, quickly right-click on his name and choose "Add as Friend" within the menu to add him.
If you don't have friend, you are not part of Jianghu. Quickly add all your friends in!
In the world of Age of Wushu, Jianghu people can travel all over the world through foothold and post house. It's different from traditional MMORPG, the post house in AOW will use carriage to take players to all cities. In the travel, players can watch the scenes on the way.
You can record your current Revival Point within a scene to quickly return to places you've been.
[Teleport Point Operation]
When recording Teleport Points, use the shortcut key T to bring up the Teleport Point menu -> Open the page Current Scene -> Select any Herbal Hall within the scene -> Click Add to set the Herbal Hall as a Teleport Point. When using Teleport Points, use the shortcut key T to bring up the Teleport Point menu -> Open the page Record List -> Click Return to City -> If you agree you can immediately return to the Teleport Point. Note: There are time limits on Teleport Point usage!

Stagecoach Station is the important transport hub to every area and scene. In Stagecoach Station, you can go back and forth in every scene and enjoy the landscape with paying a little money.

Official Stagecoach Station is the transport hub to connect other scenes. Only when you take the carriage in Official Stagecoach Station you can go back and forth in different scenes.
Village Stagecoach Station is the transport hub to connect the areas in the present scene. If you take the carriage in Village Stagecoach Station, you can go back and forth in the areas of present scenes quickly.

Press "M" button to call the map of scene out and go to Stagecoach Station -> Talk to carter of Stagecoach Station -> Choose the destination you want to go -> Get on the carriage. Notice: You can get off when you take the vehicle!
Using the Map
The left mouse button direction shows the coordinates of the mouse point. Roll over the appropriate label and it will show detailed information.
Left click the zoom button to zoom in/out the map display. Move the map with the four arrow keys; Click the image of a player to shift to the player's location;
Click player icon to switch to player's place quickly; Click Go Back to show the area map.
Press the Right Mouse Button to drag the current map.
Map Label Bar is seated in the bottom of the map. Show functional NPC or things via checking.
Main label: Check or Undo check to Select all or Undo select all sub labels.
Sub label: There are many options for players to freely select. We don't suggest you check too many options. It's not easy to see if the labels are too many.
Map label is at the lower right. It can be customized by players. Players can set label name, icon, and coordinations at their discretion.
Task Navigation is shown at the right side of the map. Players can check the accepted tasks there.
NPC Link shows the location of the related NPC of the task.
NPC list shows the NPCs in each area of the scene. All NPCs are divided into different types according to their own functions.
You can type the key word in the Search Bar, and then it will search the NPC whose name contains the key word. Reset button can reset NPC list display.
You can create a team by right clicking your own character avatar and choose to set up a team.After a team is created, pressing [O] will activate the [Team] interface where team information is shown. You can also set up your team by clicking the [Form Team] option directly in the [Team] interface.
Inviting players to team
After a team is set up, names of nearby players can be found in the [Nearby Players] interface, which can be accessed by pressing the contraction button in the [Team] interface. You can click [Refresh] to update the information of nearby players, click the name of the nearby player and choose [Invite To Join] to invite other players to your team.
Alternatively, you can send team invitations by right clicking other players to activate the interactive interface. Choose [Invite To Team] enables you to send either a team invitation or team application. This can also be done by right clicking the names of other players in the chat information bar and choose [Team Request].
Team leader authority
The leader of a team is able to operate the relevant authorized functions in [Team] from the [Form team] interface, which include: change team leader; kick team member; disband team; transfer into a raid etc.. [Team Information] shows all information involving your team members. Team leader is also able to locate further information and carry out orders in [Allocation Method].
Looking For Partner
The [Looking For Parter] function allows you to view announcements published by other players who are looking for partners so that you can choose the relevant information for further interactions. In [Looking For Parter], you can also publish announcements in the area blow to announce the relevant information for the partners you need and operate the corresponding settings.
After a team is formed, all members are able to mark their targets to help distinguish different information. This can be done by opening the interactive options of the selected targets and choosing [Set Sign], which activates the [Team] interface and [Partner] for partner options. Mark your targets from above the interface, and the sign will be shown above the selected targets.
In formed teams, tags [New]; [Chivalrous]; [Evil]; [Heretical]; [Arrogant] are used to present different attributes of teams. The tag is decided by a member of the team who possesses the highest amount of a particular attribute.
For example, when you join a team which is tagged as [chivalrous], you gain chivalry after team PvE actions like making trouble and Forbidden Area.
Transfer into a raid
After a team is successfully formed, you can turn your team into a raid by selecting [Transfer Into A Raid] from the [Team Information] in [Team] interface.
After a team is successfully promoted into a raid, enter [Team] - [Raid] to locate the relevant informationof the raid. The area above is [Raid Member Information], which shows the relevant informations of all raid members. The area below involves actions which is within your personal authority.
Raider Leader Authority
In a raid, the leader has his/her unique authority, which includes [Promote to be the Assistant]; [Promote to be team leader]; [Invite to join]; [Transfer raid leader]; [Kick a member]; [Disband raid]. This helps promote a better interactive environment for all raid members.
Every member of the raid or team is free to loot any item.
Loot in turn
Raid or team members take turns to loot.
Raid or team members roll dice to decide the belonging of items.
Team leader allocation
Raid or team leader decides the belonging of items.
Rules of allocation
Items that can be looted and allocated are ranked in six levels from low to high, which are [Wood] - [Iron] - [Bronze] - [Silver] - [Gold] - [Jade]. Raid or team leader are responsible for distributing items according to their levels so that items will be selectively allocated among team members.
Jianghu is filled with dangers which ebb and flow throughout the land, and forces are engaged in constant battle. Guilds are an important organizational entity in this game and play an influential role in the world.
The forces of Jianghu are legion, but what not create your own guild? You might even be able to find it ranking among the most accomplished in Jianghu.
So how to go about doing so? What are the limitations and conditions? Read on.
First, you must join a School and advance beyond the initial ranks before you are qualified to create a Guild.
Then, in a large city such as Chengdu, Suzhou, Luoyang or Jinling, go to the Yamen to find the official in charge of Guilds.
Speak with the official and select the Create Guild option. In the pop-up box, select an appropriate Guild name, and click Confirm.
Creating a Guild costs 300 taels of silver, 200 of which will go to the Guild's funds.
Newly created Guilds are considered Informal Guilds, and a minimum of 4 people are required for one to be recognized. If within 3 days not enough people join, the Guild will be forced to break up.
And players who sign up for the Guild must also belong to a School and be of sufficiently high rank.
Age of Wushu's Guild system is part and parcel to the authentic Wuxia experience. Within Guilds you can interact with like-minded players and share experiences. You can search for companions to complete tasks or simply go adventuring.
